Biography: Lori is a slender woman with short, light brown hair that comes down just above her shoulders. Her wrestling attire is a black singlet with narrow lightning bolts going down the front, sides and back, and she also wears black kneepads and white wrestling boots. Lori always wears a black bandanna with narrow lightning bolts and the words "Lady Lightning" in white lettering, and she'll toss the bandanna out into the crowd prior to her matches. Lori started her career in the NWCI as primarily a tag team wrestler with "The Blonde Bomber" Jennifer Rowe. The duo, known as the Air Waves, won three of the four women's tag team titles in that promotion, and their success grew in other leagues where they won women's tag team titles in the EFW, WWL, and MHW. The two only occassionally competed in singles, but preferred honing their craft as a tag team, and were particularly known for their various high-risk maneuevers. Their wrestling careers ended on a full-time basis when the NWCI shut down, although they did have a few matches for a time after that. The two then went their separate ways, with Lori taking some time to return to Mexico, where she had received her training. She later came back as a singles wrestler in BRA, but her stint lasted just a few months before she departed, but then she would resurface in the WWL, which had re-opened after a long hiatus. She quickly rose to become the women's champion in that league and has yet to lose the title. However, with the WWL's future in doubt, and Lori seeing a lack of competition as well, she has decided to venture over to GXW to see what she can accomplish. One thing that has changed in particular about her wrestling is, while she is still known for some high-risk offense, she is a much more focused and discplined wrestler, and has expanded her technical repertoire.
My thoughts on Lori Wilson: I had a lot of fun roleplaying for this gal when she was a member of the Air Waves tag team, and it was unfortuante I couldn't find many e-feds with good women's tag team divisions, so I ended up splitting the team. Lori has carried on quite well since I put her into the singles ranks, although she's one whose character I'd like to explore a little more. That's particularly true with how she's evolved in her style over the years, going from the high-risk, breath-taking offense to a better balanced in-ring approach.
