MY PAST E-FED WRESTLERS
I had a number of wrestlers that have been a major part of leagues past and present. This is a list of who those wrestlers were, their leagues, and the titles they once held.
TODD "THE TOWER" JOHNSTON: Height: 7'2" Weight: 315 lbs. Hometown: Rocky Ford, Colorado
He was a former basketball player turned wrestler, who was closely allied with Rocky Ford Meloneer, and a brief member of the Tri-State Terrors. He briefly held the NWCI North American title. Following the NWCI's closure, he retired from wrestling. His finisher was called the Slam Dunk, a top-rope chokeslam. His main theme music was "Basketball Jones" by Barry White and Chris Rock.
SHERIFF DAVE COOPER Height: 6'5" Weight: 265 lbs. Hometown: Houston, Texas
Cooper was a former sheriff's deputy who left his job after accusations by a criminal about police brutality. He spent his entire career in NWCI, at one time teaming with Thomas Brody in the tag team Law and Order. His main claim to fame was holding the NWCI TV title. Near the end of his career, he teamed with Doctor EMS under the name Public Safety. Cooper later went on to become the commissioner of Mile High Wrestling, and later Land of Enchantment Wrestling. He is presently inactive in the wrestling scene. His finisher was the dreaded STF, and he used various themes for entrance music.
DAREDEVIL DARREN ROGERS Height: 6'3" Weight: 225 lbs. Hometown: Mobile, Alabama
A former professional stuntman turned pro wrestler, Darren loved going for the high-risk moves and wowing the crowd with aerial tactics. His wrestling career was limited to the NWCI, very brief each time he competed. He finished off his opponents with the shooting star press. Darren is currently working as a stuntman again, and may never return to wrestling. He used "I Can't Drive 55" by Sammy Hagar for theme music.
THE CLIFFHANGERS (Gerald Pike and Raymond Elbert)
This tag team from Estes Park, Colorado, had brief stints in the NWCI and the CSWA, but never really caught on or won many matches, so they got out of wrestling. Pike tried a comeback as a singles wrestler, but it didn't work so well. Elbert spent his time as a referee before getting out of wrestling for good. (As you can see, the information on these two is sketchy because I didn't keep them active for very long.)
THE WEEKEND WARRIORS (Walt and Willie) Combined weight: 465 lbs. Hometown: Los Angeles, California
The two best buddies competed actively in the NWCI, WWL, EFW (P* league) and MHW. The two of them were sort of a cross between Public Enemy, The Rockers and probably had some of the characteristics of the Hardy Boyz, although I created the tag team before the Hardys made it big. They were hardcore brawlers who mixed in a few high-flying moves, and generally wanted to cause a ruckus wherever they went. Willie used the FrankenWille (Frankensteiner) followed by Walt's Moonwalt (Lionsault) to finish opponents. Their first theme was "Jump Around" by House of Pain, and more recently they used "RPM" by Sugar Ray.
STACY STORM Height: 5'10" Weight: 185 lbs. Hometown: Topeka, Kansas
Stacy was the self-proclaimed world's strongest woman, and she backed up her claim with a power game like no other woman's wrestler. She held the NWCI Women's TV title and later rose to become the NWCI Women's World champion. Her tag team partners included Holly Volley, Lady Jewels, and Laura Mercy. She had brief stints in a couple other promotions before officially retiring from wrestling. Her finishers included the running powerslam, the spinebuster, and the jackhammer. Her theme music was "Obsession" by Animotion.
STRATEGIST SARAH SHARPE Height: 5'10" Weight: 155 lbs. Hometown: Seattle, Washington
Sarah was the daughter of a SWAT team member killed in the line of duty, and she herself had experience as a highway patrol officer. Sarah found most of her success as a tag team wrestler, winning the NWCI UFC tag team titles with Holly Volley, and later teaming with Becky Byers to form the Authorities, a team that won the NWCI UFC and U.S. tag team titles. They briefly appeared in IEWA, when the league closed and Sarah retired. She was known for finishing off her opponents with the Texas Cloverleaf. She used Rhythm Heritage's "Theme From SWAT" as her music.
"THE COMMISH" BECKY BYERS Height: 5'11" Weight: 145 lbs. Hometown: Albany, New York
Becky was a former model who got out of the modeling business because she wasn't happy with those she worked with, and an experienced kickboxer. Her Commish gimmick came when she was briefly appointed the commissioner of Mile High Wrestling, when she was inactive due to a back injury. Her best work came as a tag team partner with Sarah Sharpe as the Authorities (see above for titles won). She had a brief stint in WISE, but the league closed and she is now inactive. Her finisher was a tiger driver she called the Byers Bomb. Her music was "The Look" by Roxette.
TEAM SPIRIT (Karen Johnston and Amy Donelson) Combined weight: 282 lbs. Hometown: Rocky Ford, Colorado
High school friends of Holly Volley, the two competed exclusively in the tag team ranks, making most of their appearances in the NWCI, where they won the U.S. and UFC women's tag team titles. Their offense was similar to the Steiner Brothers back when those two teamed in the late 80's and early 90's. Both are presently retired, with Karen and Amy having most recently worked for the IWWA. Their last theme music used was "18 Till I Die" by Bryan Adams.
I also roleplayed for several real wrestlers at different times of my RPing career, including Dean Malenko, Steve Williams, Chris Jericho, Steven Regal, Al Snow, Booker T, Jeff Jarrett, the Holly Cousins and the New Age Outlaws.
